Standard Specifications
Capacity
The Burro Volt is engineered for industrial-strength performance without the emissions. It handles an impressive 3,000-pound load at a 24″ load center. While it excels on improved surfaces like parking areas and graded lots, its 18% gradability and 14 psi ground pressure make it more than capable of handling residential job site terrain.
Motor/Battery System
Powered by a high-efficiency Omni/MAGLEC electric traction motor (2.5 kW operating / 5.8 kW peak) and a 48V LiFePO4 battery system with on-demand power management for extended runtime. The Volt delivers 30+ hours on a single charge, features a smart BMS with CAN communication, integrated telematics, remote diagnostics, and digital information screen. For safety and battery longevity, the unit includes an automatic “Limp Mode” at 25% power and a full system shutdown at 15%.
Mast
The Volt features a heavy-duty fixed mast with a 64.5″ fork lift height and 143″ raised mast height. It includes a versatile tilt range (12° forward/7° reverse) for precise load handling.
Reach
The Burro Volt comes standard with 42″ telescoping forks that extend from 36″ to 56″ for deep reach into truck beds.
Load Spacing
With a load spacing of 51″, it is designed to handle standard pallets with ease, even when reaching across a truck bed.
Speed & Performance
Top speed of 2.5 mph provides efficient material handling while maintaining operator safety in walk-behind operation.
Tires
Equipped with 18.5″ turf tires on the front and a 215/40-12 steering tire.
Braking
Braking is handled by a 24V electric service brake for smooth, responsive stopping power, plus an electric release, spring-applied parking brake.
Charging
The Volt is designed for maximum uptime with 30+ hours of runtime. It plugs into any standard 110V outlet for a 12-hour full charge. An optional 220V fast-charger is available to reduce charging time to just 6 hours.
Mounting Kit
The Burro Volt is 100% compatible with the standard Donkey series mounting kits AND cable-style mounting systems, allowing it to integrate seamlessly into your existing fleet.
Standard Equipment
Worksite strobe, work lights, digital information screen, and curbside loading controls come standard on the Burro Volt.
